Unlike some other training organisations, your Smart instructor will not make or receive any mobile phone calls whilst the driving session is conducted, nor will they smoke in the car, use a laptop computer or take a personal break.  Should you the client wish to take a short break within the training session then your instructor will facilitate the request and select a suitable place to pull over.   Also, unlike many other schools, your Smart driving instructor will not at any time pick up or drop off other clients within your personal driving lesson.

Why only a fully qualified  driving instructor in Farnborough? 

There are many schools, including a number that are national that franchise part qualified trainee instructors.  Trainee instructors are those that are currently learning to become fully qualified instructors.  They are granted by the DSA a temporary 6-month licence to instruct  learner drivers (the Pink trainee licence)  aimed at allowing them to effectively 'learn on the job'.  This means that trainee instructors are: 

• less likely to have the same level of experience and/or competence to train learner drivers than those instructors that are fully qualified,
• yet to pass the DSA third, final and very stringent examination that tests rigorously an individual's ability to teach learner drivers.  Should the trainee instructor not attend and pass this final examination within the allocated period, or indeed fail to qualify on the third attempt, clients might expect to experience a change of instructor within their training course.
• not authorised by the DSA to instruct the pass plus scheme therefore, clients will experience a change of driving instructor should they choose to continue with this positive development.
